Welcome to Wednesday, everyone! We are back with another project from our July Blue Fern Fan of the month, Tracy Funk, using the Garden Life Collection. This photo from the 60's brings back memories for some of us!
I'm happy to be back with my third layout for Blue Fern Studios as their "Fan of the Month" for July. It's called "Party Dress" and features a photo of my sister, Linda, in 1965.
For this layout, I used the In Bloom paper from the Garden Life collection for the background and some cream-coloured cardstock for the doily die-cuts.
I used the Flutter Medley and Bohemian Flowers chipboard pieces. I heat-embossed the Flutter Medley with embossing powder and rubbed some white paint overtop. I didn't like the contrast that created so I did a wash of watery white paint overtop to tone it down. I applied golden yellow glitter glue to the butterflies. When that was dry I squeezed some white glue on the interior portions of the wings and sprinkled it with Sunlight Rose Imagine Ink Embossing Powder before heat setting it.

The Bohemian Flowers were painted white and embossed with Baby Pink Imagine Ink Embossing Powder.
I also used a couple of pieces of printed chipboard from the Garden Life collection.
I used some of Blue Fern Studios' Garden Florals, Garden Blooms and Happy Roses as well.
