Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your year is off to an amazing start! I must say that I am pretty happy with the way my year is starting out, I am super excited to be joining this amazing team! I really can't wait to share my layouts with you...
But before I do let me introduce myself....
My name is Lanette Erickson I live in southeastern Michigan with
my husband two sassy daughters and one crazy doberman. I’m an ex-banker turned
stay at home mommy and one crazy crafter.
I have always been a crafty person, but my love of scrapbooking began a
little over 13 years ago. Over the years my passion has evolved from pure paper
to more of a mixed media affair. I truly
love all mediums and I am happiest when my hands are messy, I love to
experiment with new products and try new techniques.
I’m not sure I have a scrappy style, I always try to showcase the
picture I a scrapping. But If I had to define it I would say Romantic and
playful.
I am super excited to be part of the Blue Fern Design Team! I hope that I my art will help inspire you to get
your hands messy and create something you love!

But enough about me lets look at my layouts...
For my first layout this month I decided I wanted to play with the Newly Released Remnants Collection!
For this layout I used an older picture of me and my hubby :)
I just love the vintage feel of this collection, As you can see I played up the green in the Memories Chipboard with a bit of color spray. Additionally I colored all my flowers for a more uniform look..
And now for a bit of the details...
And now for a bit of the details...
Here you can see the tiny Printed chipboard from the set tucked in the corner of my picture, with lots of lovey Blue fern Flowers that have been altered a bit with color spray paint BFS Micro Beads & Glitter too!
Here you can see a bit more of my lovely flowers and the printed chipboard and parts of the swirl from the BFS flourish chipboard that I colored using BFS-Taupe Embossing Powder.
Lots of lovely BFS White Gold Glitter and Fir Tree Seedlings.
Here you can see a bit of the Tattered Diamond Chipboard bits, they are colored with BFS Night Sky Embossing Powder a touch of paint and wax.
