Christmas Kirigami Box - by Vicky Alberto

Happy Friday! I am here to share a handmade kirigami box... perfect for the gift giving season. This box was made with the phenomenal new Blue Fern Christmas Cheer collection. The coordinating ephemera and chipboard in this collection is so vintage and just my style! I added a white bloom from the Homespun collection and a pretty silver charm from the Radiance collection.

On the "Christmas Cheer" chipboard piece, I simply stippled gesso and sprayed with light green color mist - for a vintage look. At the bottom of the box topper I glued some gorgeous Blue Fern lace to polish it off. This box is 4"x 4"x 4". These take a bit of time to make but are worth putting something special in them. Here is a link to a tutorial I once did on how to make the basic box:

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my project.

Zig Zag card with Radiance

Hi, Henriëtte here today sharing a card and envelope I made with the "Radiance" collection.

I made the zig zag card using creme colored cardstock and decorate all sides with the
 Radiance patterned papers.

The front panel is embellished with Blue Fern flowers, lace, Radiance cut outs and a
beautiful flower charm.

Finally I made an envelope in which the zig zag card fits.

Products used:

Papers: Radiance
Cut outs: Radiance Ephemera
Flowers: BFS
Lace: 15
Charm: flower garland charms

Thanks so much for visiting the Blue Fern Studios blog!

Hugs, Henriëtte.

Radiance collection layout - by Vicky Alberto

I am sharing a layout created with the new Radiance collection from Blue Fern.  These papers and blooms are truly gorgeous.  This collection also features some pretty silver charms and lace too!  I accented with bling and a doily from my stash to pull everything together for a vintage look.  For the title I even used an adhesive shape from the Remnants collection... that just fit perfectly on here.

On the close-up you can see the cute butterfly charm, Radiance and Apricot collection blooms, Mina's border chipboard (randomly distressed inked it) and some of that gorgeous vintage green lace.

Thanks for taking a peek at my project today!
