Happy Accident

There's no lace or bows on this page but you can bet your buttons its Blue Fern! I started with a sheet of Happy Accident called Balmoral then painted it with turquoise, purple, and spatters of white.

The dials and clocks are a stamp called Widget.

I painted the chipboard, called the Ornate Corner Flourish, blue and love how it frames the photos!

I also used some copper ink, green ink and orange paint, as well as a paintbrush, from my stash.

I hope you feel the happiness in this fun layout!

Blessings, Bonnie

Wild & Free Layout - by Vicky Alberto

Sharing a layout created with Blue Fern's Wanderlust and Happy Accident collections.  This is a snapshot of the lakehouse before our renovations begin. Lots of layers and distressing and chipboard on this project!

Here is a close-up of A Spring Day chipboard bird (coated with oatmeal powder), Happy Accident ephemera and various Blue Fern blooms.

On this close-up, more of A Spring Day chipboard... the bird coated with oatmeal powder and the rest inked. All topped with a variety of Blue Fern blooms. There is also a Classic Mini Chipboard Frame that I distress inked and randomly glued oatmeal powder for a rustic look.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek today!

Mini album with Radiance collection

Hello,  Henriëtte here sharing a mini album made with the Radiance collection.

I found a video tutorial on how to make this album here.
I embellished the front of the album with lace and ephemera pieces.

There are many flaps in this album and I decorated them with the
beautiful Radiance patterned papers.

Here's a picture of the back side of the album.

Shine

The bright spot in my childhood photo could be construed as a mistake but I have always loved it and it inspired this layout titled "Shine". The foundation sheet is from Happy Accident 2, called Tonic.

The lace strip is lace number 16.

I soaked a snippet of lace number 14 in khaki paint to accent the corner of my flower collage.  I cut roses from lace number 15 and added some spring blooms and some various flowers from my stash. I topped it off with the Shine chipboard from the Radiance Collection after I inked it gold.

To enhance my photo further I also added a cute bird cut from an Amber and Apricot paper called Birdsong. I cut a small piece of lace, number 3, and stained it brown to make the bird wing. The chipboard frame is an embellished frame dry brushed white. The paper frame buttons and gold leaf ribbon were from my stash.

Thank you for the peek!
Blessings, Bonnie

Fabulous

Welcome to Blue Fern's Blog today!  I am back today with a layout done using new the Radiance Collection
This photo is of my exceptionally talented granddaughter Emily striking a pose in her dance costume.
For the background I did my usual prep. Then added some color with a  Tim Hotlz Distress Ink pad.I then stenciled some designs around the photo. I used the chipboard word Fabulous for my title. I heat embossed it with bubblegum embossing powder.
I used a piece of the new chipboard from the Radiance collection I believe it's called medallion. I cut it up (I usually cut up my chipboard to make it last longer or to have more options for my page). I heat embossed it with the new sparkly yellow embossing powder also from the Radiance line. I used some Art stones for extra texture.
I used several Dark Tropic Lilies and Radiance Blooms for this cluster. I also used seedlings in Tickled and Glass to put on my flowers and around my title.
This collection comes with adorable metal charms. I used the Radiant flower charms.
I also used several pieces of ephemera to add more layers to my layout.
And last close up for today!

Altered bag with Radiance

Hi everyone! Henriëtte here. Today I'll be sharing another project I've made
using the Radiance collection.

I've altered a simple brown paper bag, decorated it with flowers, lace and chipboard and
also added a big tag.

Before I started decorating the bag I painted the edges with a layer of white gesso and
flipped the bottom to create a pocket.
I cut the Radiance papers to size and glue them on the bag.
This time I used the peach colored papers from the collection.
 They are so beautiful!

On the edge of the pocket I glued a piece of gorgeous lace and added a few matching flowers.
There is also a Radiant charm.

On the top of the bag I glued a big chipboard. It's the ornate florisch corner which I heat embossed with oatmeal embossing powder.

Then I made a big tag with a lovely flower ephemera center piece and
a flower charm.

The backside of the bag is also decorated with the Radiance papers.

How a simple brown paper bag can turn into a beautiful gift bag!

Sunshine

Since I feel so blessed to be an American, I couldn't help but wrangle up a patriotic layout for this post.  Of course, having a cute grandson and great products from Blue Fern made this a crafting triumph. I started with a background paper from Wanderlust Collection called Mountain View.

I chose my title from Radiance and sprayed it with blue glitter spray ink.

I also used a chipboard heart shape from Heart Love by Karen Tamira. I added the chipboard butterfly, inked blue and red. The window boxes I cut from a sheet of Amber and Apricot paper called Chapters. I made shutters from a red wood paper from my stash as well as baby breath inked blue and red. The banners, bees, and stars were also from my stash.

Thanks for the peek!
Blessings, Bonnie
