Have you seen the Happenstance collection? This collection is bright and cheery. I decided to create a couple oversized cards using some new dies. I also created vellum envelope and decorated it with a fun butterfly die.
I also wanted to try my created hand at creating a One Page wonder using one sheet of 12x12 paper.

Here is the first oversized card it measures 8.5x9. I stacked 2 of the same oversized shaped dies and glued them at an angle. I added foam behind the die cuts to give them dimension. I distress paint the chipboard frame and then embossed it with an antique silver. I used several die cuts including flowers from my stash that matched perfectly with this collection. I added leaf die cuts, buttons and also an ephemera die cut from the collection.
With one of my oversized new dies I used it to cut out a vellum envelope and also cut out the back with Happenstance paper to layer the inside of the envelope. Vellum is such a fun way to add interest to any project! I used one of my favorite butterfly dies to decorate the front of the envelope. I used foil and foam to add the layers plus Happenstance paper. With all my fun layers I love to add tulle and lace trim for a soft touch to my projects!
I was able to dig into my stash to use some flowers and die cuts to complete my project.
Here is my One Page Wonder using a 12x12 sheet of paper. I had so much fun creating this mini album/journal. I added layers of die cuts, tags, buttons, tulle and Ephemera. This tiny album/journal measures 4x6 which is small for my usual projects. I'm a go big or go home kind of gal!
I added a corner piece die, made a pocket to hold some tags. The next page I added a flip up opening where you will have more room to journal or add pictures. Lots of die cuts and flat layers.
I added a big pocket and layered with Ephemera pieces and a paperclip. The next page has 2 spots of tucking in tags, journaling or photos.

Once you open up the page there is a place for more journaling, it flips open with top and bottom.
The inside of the right page I created an envelope with a flip to tuck in more journaling tags or photos and the page is a large pocket for another place for journaling tags or photos.
Here's a close up of the flip out, I'm not sure what that's called, lol!
I'm planning on creating another One Page Wonder using a 12x12 sheet soon but possibly a taller version!
I hope you have a chance to create with this fun and beautiful collection!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!!!
