Garden Life Layouts by Kris Berc

Hi, Blue Fern Studios fans! It's Kris here to share a few new layouts with you.  All three feature the new paper collection called Garden Life.

Cute Stuff

My first layout features the Garden Life - Wallflowers paper. I treated it with gesso, drops of ink, modeling paste through a stencil, the Serendipity Medley stamp, and a stamp from the Forever stamp set.

I clustered some Garden Florals and Garden Blooms with a few other items from my stash.

I framed the photo with a chipboard piece from the Graduated Circles set embossed with 14 karat embossing powder.  The Garden Lattice Bits and the "Cute Stuff" title from the Good Vibes set were first embossed with Sunlight Rose embossing powder and then embossed a second time with Rusty Rose embossing powder.

Friends by Bev Code

Hi Blue Fern Studios fans. I am using the amazing HAPPY ACCIDENT Collection on this page.

"Friends"

Hi... Bev here today. As Fan of the Month at Blue Fern Studios I am thrilled to be able to create using layers of paper from the HAPPY ACCIDENT collection. I then stamped using WASHI STRIPS &  BLOOM & STEM stamps, HAPPY ACCIDENT chipboards and some of the newest IMAGINE INK GLITTER added sparkle to the page. I finished it off with a small cluster of SPRING FLORAL flowers. I am thrilled to be able to share with you the amazing products I used them on my project.

This Friends page is my Grand Daughter and her little childhood friend.

I am sharing with you how I used the  Blue Fern Studios stamps inked on to the open spaces. One I  used the newest glitter which I applied onto the glued spots around the stamped image.

Tap off the excess glitter onto a piece of paper to collect it. You will want to save this for another project. Fold over the paper and slide the excess glitter back into the bottle for future projects.

Here is the  multi tone stamped image with the glitter applied around it.

Using the same process as above... scatter the glitter over the glued section on the chipboard. Turn sideways over the piece of paper to tap off excess. Save the excess glitter and put back into the container.

Here is the finished chipboard piece all coloured and glittered.

In this section I also added some amazing flowers from the Blue Fern Studios collections.

In this section I added more inked chipboard arrow words coloured with ink or copics. I stamped a border  in lower corner and also added a chipboard accent.

June Layouts by Babi

Hi Everyone,

Today I would like to share with you a couple of projects  that I made  featuring the new Garden Life  collection.

I used  Garden Life - Sun Kissed o create my  first project, called "Blossom".

To create the background I used stencil, modeling paste and Honey embossing powder.

I covered the Natural Spring Set chipboards with watercolor paint.

And finished my project with some flowers that I "fussy cut" from Flower Bed and Snippets papers. I also used  Spring Lilies  flowers  and Printed Chipboard to decorate it.

Using the Garden Life Collection I created my second layout "Hello Darling". You can check the video tutorial at the end of this post.

For the main page I used Garden Life - Snippets.
Then, I used  stencil, gesso and Pearl embossing powder to create a delicate texture for the background.

I stamped the background with tattered stamp to add some contrast to the page.

Then covered with Snow embossing powder  the Ornate Frames and Blossom Branches chipboard.

I finished  with  gorgeous accents that I cut from Flower Bed and Sun Kissed papers, Blossom flower and other embellies.

June Blue Fern Fan of the Month!

It's a new month and we are excited to announce that Bev Code is our June Blue Fern Fan of the Month.
Bev has been a fan of Blue Fern products for a long time, and we can't wait feature her projects this month.
Let's get to know Bev a little more:

Hi.... my name is Bev Code and I am thrilled to be the Blue Fern Studios June Fan of the month. Using Blue Fern Studios products make crafting and creating so easy. The papers are amazing along with the coordinating and matching accents, stickers, flowers and chipboards. I can't wait to share my projects this month and hopefully inspire you along the way too.

I have been crafting all my life one way or the other but started scrapping in 2009 when I was retired and had time to devote to this type of crafting. I am a married to my dear hubby Kenny for 47 years this August. I have 2 amazing and wonderful sons, Chris married to Lisa with 2 eldest Grand Daughters Alex and Sammy, and Tony married to Maria with a Grandson Jake and Grand Daughter Jules.

Family and friends are the subjects of my crafting, along with celebrations, vacations and many nature photos. I also love to knit, crochet, sew and do needlepoint when I have time. I don't have a defined style as I love to mix it up and just go with the flow at the time. Layouts are my favourite but I make lots of cards, projects, tags and even ATC's. You may have seen me around Facebook and know that I also do sketches and publish Creative Inspiration Magazine. Creating and crafting is a great release and I use it to relax and express myself. Be sure to visit often this month when I get to share lots of projects using Blue Fern Studios fabulous products with you.  My blog is: http://beeceecreativity.blogspot.com/

Be sure to check back each Wednesday this month for more projects created by Bev.
