August Inspiration with Debbie Burns

Hi everyone!  Debbie here with you today to share my August projects.  I've used a couple different collections this month.    Let's start with the newer of the collections, Tattered Walls.   

"Adore"

I used The Garage (Side B) for the background, and applied various distress inks, paint splatters and a variety of Blue Fern Stamps, Floral Grunge, Remnants Collage and Texture Circles.

I placed pieces from Lace 4 around my page.  The lace was inked with a antique distress color.     A sprinkling of Red Grape and Wintergreen Seedlings were applied to the lace.  I  used the following flowers, Summer Blooms, Courtship Roses (which I sprayed with brown mist) and Harvest Lilies.  I added Rose Gold Glitter to the edges and centers of the flowers.

The title was embossed with a mixture of Mushroom and Antique Gold Embossing Powders.

Lots of layering under the photo using the Carolina Room and The Maids Room.  I placed Garden Lattice chipboard pieces on both sides of the photo, embossed with Mushroom and Antique Gold Embossing Powders.

"Every Moment Matters"

This layout features papers from the Tranquility and Tattered Walls collections.  I used Peaceful from the Tranquility collection for the background.  I applied some amber and marmalade inks on the background and lots stamping using the Tattered Newsprint and Remnants Collage stamps.

Beneath the photo I used the Trailing Scrolls chipboard.  I stained it dark brown and added some Tangerine Embossing Powder.  Beneath the photo I added layers using The Reading Room (side B) from Tattered Walls along with some pieces from the Ephemera pack.

The title is printed chipboard from the Remnants collection.

Here I used the  Wheat Stalk chipboard piece, which I stained brown and added Tangerine Embossing Powder.

Lots of beautiful flowers including Tranquil Blooms and Memories Blooms.  Some of the centers of the flowers are covered with Sailors Delight Glitter.  I used Twig, Paprika and Harvest Seedlings.

"Be Yourself"

My Third layout features the Garden Life collection.  I applied some inking on the background along with some masking. The background paper is Wallflowers (Side B). Lots of layering and fussy cut flowers under the photo from In Bloom, Calling Cards and Flower Bed papers.

I used a Flourish Ornaments here.  I cut the border off of it.  I embossed it with Snow Embossing powder and applied some ink.  A sprinkling of Tickled Seedlings were placed around the layout.  I used Fresh Florals, Apricot Blooms and Summer Blooms.

On each side of the photo I used the Heidi's Emblem Chipboard, embossed with Snow embossing Power and lightly inked.  Beneath the photo I used Stencil Tag 1.

July Inspiration with Yuko

Blue Fern Studios DT work is in July.

This month I made it with summerlike feeling 2 works and hydrangea photos.

First is my first work.

I used wonder Lust series.

From the paper of the design of the sunflower

I thought of using this picture.

I also used the printed wood chip board of the same wonder Lust series.

The big title has a big impact!

I used embossed powder ginger.

In the image it glows gold and it is shiny

Actually it is gold that has fallen a bit.

It is a picture when We went to see a big bridge.

The chip board is embossed with HOTCOCOA.

Because I suffer from color and embossed many times, it became thick.

I put a lame on the cheesecloth with Seedlings and stickles.

I embossed this chip board with OATMEAL.

Because this chip board can be used in various tastes, favorite ！

I love hydrangea.

Of course I like purple though flowers

I often use hydrangea pictures.

Just push the Distressed Titles stamp into paper and cut it

It is favorite because it will become a title with presence.

July inspiration by Vera Shelemekh + video tutorial

Hello Blue Fern Studios fans.
Vera Shelemekh is here with a couple of Tattered Walls collection projects and video tutorial for one of them. So, get ready your crafty hands and prepare your Blue Fern Studio papers and media... the show is beginning.
The first layout is full of bright flowers and summer breeze. The photo is matching the palette of the background. By the way this is Tattered Walls - Suite 204 paper with just several stains of green acrylic paint.

The frame has been embossed with Avocado and Lime powder.

This bird was cut out of the round shape ephemera.

 I love to add small accents with stamping and seedlings.

 And the chipboard birds are taken from the Spring Day set

 I used one of the spring blooms, it looks really fresh and stylish.

 The seashell is also embossed with Starry night and I've chosen a couple of Ephemera pieses from the Tattered walls set.

Hello Blue fern studio's fans!

Here are my three inspirations for July.  

I'll start with the latest collection: Tattered walls.

Here i used "Suite 204" as my background.  Primed it with clear gesso, then added some textures with paste and sprays.  Also, some random stamping with Tattered Newsprint and the little border in the Flutter music set.

My title is from the Captured words set and is covered with the beautiful Gilded Rose glitters

Also, you can see under my focal point some pieces of Rose wreath chippies.  It is simply altered with black gesso and some waxes.

I finished this layout by adding some gorgeous BFS Flowers:

Above (in the corner) Homespun blossoms

Divided on each side from Remnants florals

and the Fuschia one is from Summer Blooms.

Some others flowers from my stash, stones and finally, Red grape seedlings as final touches.

Second one with Tattered Walls which I loooooove.

Here, it's "The Library" that I've chose to work with.

Clear gesso, Dry brushed Heavy gesso under my focal point, some stamping with my usual Tattered Newsprint stamp, which is one of my favorites BFS.

Lots of Tattered walls Ephemeras were used here.  My chippie title is covered with Caribbean glitters... A fairy color I think...Really love that one

Finally, some flowers such as Fresh florals, flair, white splatters and that was it.

Finally, the perfect Blue Fern Studios collection for vacation layouts is Wanderlust.

Background paper is Wanderlust Petites (b-side).  I've added clear gesso, Heavy gesso, some sprays and finally, some stamping with Crackle textures and brown permanent ink.

Above, the Seashell frame painted with black gesso and then, covered with wax.

My title is a chippie form the Seasons set, simply colored with a teal spray.

Some cheesecloth to set my focal point, a mix of Aquamarine and Wintergreen seedlings with some art stones, some flowers from my stash among some BFS ones such as Fresh florals (yellow, bottom left picture corner), Summer blooms (teal one but a little bit modified to fit in my clustering) and Christmas blooms (under upper left picture corner).  Some white splatters as final touches and voilà!
