July Inspiration with Debbie Burns

Hi everyone!  Can't believe it's July already. The months just seem to fly by in a flash. Hope you are enjoying your summer.   I have 3 layouts to share with you today featuring the Tattered Walls and Wanderlust collections.  Let's start with the newest of the collections, Tattered Walls.  I love how versatile this collection is.  I created one layout with a current photo and another with a treasured family vintage photo.

"Cherish"
I used Carport (side B) for the background, and applied some pearl bordeaux mist and grey ink splatters.

I sprayed pieces from Lace 4 with a Precious Stone mist.  Beneath the picture I placed the Embellished Frame chipboard, embossed with Iris embossing powder.

I used the Precious Stone Mist on some lilies from Dark Tropic Lilies.  Tucked beneath the dark lilies I placed roses from Courtship Roses and some light purple lilies from Spring Lilies.  Red Grape and Lavender Seedlings were applied randomly on the flowers and around the photo.

Placed beneath the photo I added some fussy cut flowers from the Carolina Room Paper.  The title "Cherish" is from the Remnants printed chipboard.

"Memories"
The background paper is The Sun Room.  I applied some masking and paint splatters.  Layering beneath the photo is from The Library, The Maids Room and pieces from the Ephemera packet.  I placed the Stone Cottage chipboard beneath the photo and left it untreated.

Lots of flowers from Spring Lilies, Wanderlust Lilies, Wanderlust Vines and Moody Blooms.  I added some Dijon Glitter to the centers of the butterflies and art stones and Lemonade Seedlings on the flowers.

Another closeup of the flowers.

The title is untreated.  Love how it blends with the papers and embellishments.

"Calm"
My final layout features the Wanderlust Collection.  I used Ocean Voyage (Side B) for the background.    For layering beneath the photo l used Souvenir (Side B).  I used the Tattered Newsprint Stamp and added some paint spatters in various colors.

Beneath the layering I used the Quatrefoil Panel chipboard which I treated with some brown stain. I added some Gold Nugget and Aquamarine Seedlings.

Flowers are from  Wanderlust Lilies, Tranquil Blooms and Memories Blooms.  The Leafy Twig chipboard was embossed with Taupe embossing powder.

Here I've used a round calendar piece from The Wanderlust Printed Chipboard.  The doily was cut from Seascape Side B. The leaves are from the Forest Branch Chipboard.  I stained them brown and added some gold wax.

The title was stained brown .

June Inspirations by Yuko

Hello!
Today is my turn!
I would like to introduce three of my projects in June.

<Sweet as Honey>
I used Blue Fern Studios' HOME SPUN collection.
This collection is too cute and easy to use!

I used embossed powder named HONEY for the title.
Before melting it really looks like honey
It is a powder with a little orangeish color
Melt and into a gold like this.
There are many kinds in the same gold though
HONEY is like gold that is close to orange.

I attached a glitter (marine) to the leaves pulled out with the die.

Textured with modeling paste on top
I scattered seedlings (winter green) and put it.

Seedlings include mats, metal, things with transparency etc.
There are various kinds.

This is a type with a sense of transparency.
There is a transparent feeling and it is beautiful !

June "Tattered Walls" Pages by Sharon!

Hi everyone!  I am thrilled to be here today sharing three new scrapbook pages that I made using the gorgeous "Tattered Walls" paper collection:

To me, this is a "must-have" collection for any scrapbooker.  It is so versatile and each and every page is absolutely beautiful.  So without further ado, here are my layouts . . .

Layout #1:  Family

I decided to use the cool "Powder Room" paper:

One of my favorite parts of making this page was using the "Stone Cottage" chipboard piece.

I decorated it with Taupe and Blue Sky embossing powder

And I did the same with the Chipboard "Family" word, too.

Here's a different view:

I especially liked scrapping a treasured family photo of the four of us using this beautiful collection.

Blue Fern Product List:
Paper: Tattered Walls "the Powder Room"
Chipboard: Stone Cottage, "Family"
Embossing Powder: Taupe, Sky Blue
Flowers: Spring Blooms, Wanderlust Lilies
Seedlings: Aquamarine
Lace:  Lace 1, Lace 2, Lace 10
Ephemera:  Tattered Walls

Layout #2:  Sweet Memories

I came across some old photos from my wedding day, and just had to scrap this one!

I used the stunning "Maid's Rom" paper:

Here is a close up so that you can get a better look:

The "Glam Frame" and "Memories" chipboard pieces worked well here.  And the taupe embossing powder is a dream to work with!

Also, I stamped the musical notes and embossed directly on my page using the
"For the Birds" stamp set:

Blue Fern Product List:
Paper: Tattered Walls "the Maids Room"
Chipboard: Glam Frame, "Memories"
Embossing Powder: Taupe
Stamp: For the Birds
Glitter: Pink Carnation
Flowers: Garden Blooms, Spring Blooms
SeedlingsRed Grape
Lace:  Lace 3, Lace 10, Lace 12
Ephemera:  Tattered Walls

Layout #3:  Our Story

I used the other side of "the Maid's Room" paper because it resembled a book and went perfectly with my "Our Story" theme, which is based on my daughter's love for each other.

The centerpiece of this page is this beautiful "Fancy Love" stamp set:

I embossed directly on my page, and stamped over the embossing in black to bring out "Love One Another" better:

And here is a different view:

Paper: Tattered Walls "Apartment B" and "the Maid's Room"
Chipboard: Embellished Frame, "Our Story"

June layouts by France Ringuette

Hi Bloggers, it's June already. Once again it's my turn to ramp up the inspiration with a few layouts.

Layout #1: Our Story

Oh I have fallen in LOVE with the most recent Tattered Walls collection. It was actually hard to decide what paper to play with. For my first June layout, I wanted to make this page as a gift for my friend Marina. This wedding picture is precious, and she wanted to offer this as a gift to her Mother In Law. I love the soft and rich design in this layout that I coupled with one page from the Remnants collection.

The frame chipboard is stunning, heat embossed in Plum, I love the rich color and metallic effect this embossing color has. It's perfect to highlight the amazing wedding picture.

Have you seen the new Ephemera pack? This title piece, is stunning and so easy to integrate to any layout. I used the title doily underneath, love the effect. And not to mention the seedlings, they give such nice detailing to any layout.

This title chipie is a beauty, embossed in Baby Pink.

Layout #2: Big Adventure

Perfect boy's layout... Loving this new Dark grunge background in the Tattered wall collection. It's just perfect for this baby blue layout.

Sparkling navy ... My new favorite embossing powder, it's just perfect.

I love keeping natural chipboard on my layouts, I like the simple effect it brings and on this dark background its is simply perfect.

Keeping it simple, small title from the Tattered Walls Ephemera pack.

Layout #3: Love

This layout was inspired by the printed chipboard text and mt friend Marina's wedding pictures were just so perfect,

On this layout, I added this quote to complete the 2 beautiful family wedding pictures.

My center of the flower had too much yellow so I chose to cover it with white gesso, then adding some Dusty Rose glitter.

Flowers: Remnants Blooms

Stamp: Vintage Edges & Butterflies
