Celebrate Love - with Love Story

Hello!
My Love Story collection is cut and used to the very last pieces. What a fabulous collections, isn't it?
For my post tpday I have prepared two cards and a layout.
The cards were made for the wedding anniversary occasion and of course Love Story was a perfect choice:

Chipboards: Damask panel, Marrakesh panel, Organic vine

Chipboards: Tattered Diamond Bits, Roman Clock Set small

For my layout I have used a diagonal composition, creating the flow across the page. Combining chipboards, lace, flowers and paper pieces give a nice variation for the eye.

Chipboards: Folkart frame, Damask panel, Memory frames (1 piece of the set)
Stamps: Forever

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
With love from Zaneta aka Zanka

Love Story Layouts

Hey crafty friends! I'm so excited to share with you the layouts I created with the Love Story collection. For my first layout I decided to use the Marrakesh panel chipboard and create a collage of photos.

It is so striking the page hardly needs anymore embellishments. But I couldn't help myself and just had to ass a few more pieces cut from another beautiful Love Story paper.

Check out the step by step video tutorial to see the entire process and create it for your own photos!

BFS supplies used:
Papers: Love Story collection: Twenty One, True harmony
Chipboard: Marrakesh Panel, This Moment title

My second layout has a story behind it. at first glance it's a beautiful scene with flowers in a garden and a teenager boy sits among them. however when you look closely you see he's kind of mad and the title explains why...

I colored all the chipboard flowers with aquarelle pencils and a water brush. Then I sprayed a cheese cloth and used it to create the grass. I added all the flowers and the photo of my son. The title was sprayed with the sprays inks as well.

BFS supplies used:
Papers: Love Story collection: The Grand Ball
Chipboard: Garden Daisies, Pretty Weeds, Layering Stems

Have fun creating!

Love Story Layouts with Angelica

Hello Friends! Today I'd like to share with you three layouts I created with the Love Story Collection.  I've made seven layouts thus far with this collection. I can't get enough...I just love it!

For my first project I made a masculine page.  When going for those boy pages I prefer not to use flowers. So embellishing is a little light than my usual. I layered the Film Strips and used the chippy Handsome for the title. I did a small bit of a mixed media background using mist and molding paste. I did some light distressing on the Amazing Heart, Twenty One and True Harmony papers.  I used the Love Story: Stamp 2 .

After doing the masculine page I wanted to go back to girly...lol! Here I used the Floral Clock and Dreams Come True Chippys. My little one was Cinderella a couple of years back and I thought the Grand Ball paper was a perfect fit. I did some stamping with the Forever Stamp.

For my last page I picked the title Angel Eyes from the Spiritually Speaking set.  I also used the Ironworks Accents. I did paper layering use four different sheets: Concerto, Calling Cards, True Harmony and  Amazing Heart.

Thank you for taking a peek at my March projects! I hope that I've inspired you!

Bright & Colorful- By Keren Tamir

"Love you"

Here is my first project for the month of March. It's a bright and colourful Mixed Media project using a photo of my daughter as an anchor.
The background paper is Ombré Dreams from Blue Fern Studios.

I used hexagon shapes to create the pattern in the background. First, I masked with a hexagon stencil. Then I stamped with the new Blue Fern Studios hexagon patterned stamp. Finally, I added Hexagon bits chipboard pieces around the photo.

The chipboard bits were painted in two different shades of purple/fuchsia and then doodled on with a white marker.

You can see all the Hexagon patterns in this picture below.

"Shine"

This is also a bright and colourful layout but with a different color scheme.
The background paper is also from the Ombré Dreams Collection. I find this collection very versatile to use when you want to create bright and colourful projects.

I used a photo of myself and framed it in the new round butterfly frame which I personally designed.
I love butterflies so I love being surrounded by them.

This was a picture my husband took of me during a beautiful sunset. I thought that I should also create a similar matching theme on this layout.
First, I created a stencilled background to mimic the sun rays from the picture.
Then I used the Butterfly frame as it has a sun-like appearance. I covered it in yellow and orange chalk ink.

Finally, I used three new Radiant chipboard Suns, which I painted in gold and then sprinkled with gold glitter. I loved using them as it continued on with the sun-filled theme.

Thank you so much for visiting the Blue Fern Studios blog

Have a wonderful day!!
