Moments in Life with Camilla
Hi everybody! Camilla here with a new layout and a card made with fabulous chipboards from Blue Fern Studios.
For my layout I used the gorgeous Shabby Layered Frame to frame a photo of my newest tiny niece, Mira. I just love how it turned out. I also used the Fancy Fob Watch to get a time dimension to the layout. The chipboards are dabbed with quite a lot of white gesso to get some texture.
Some close-ups:

The card is made for a friend. She is soon attending a wedding and wanted me to create a card. I wanted the card to be elegant and one of the hearts from the Blue Fern Studios Heart Set was perfect as a centre of the card. I kept it plain and raw - suited for the grey tones of the card.

This is it from me this month, but I hope you stop by in a few days to check out the projects from my design team friends here at Blue Fern Studios!

Pages and Mood Board from Kasia
Hello guys! Kasia Krzymińska here to share with you some of my works made with gorgeous Blue Fern Studios chipboards.
This time I got for you layout, art-journal page and my mini mood board. Let's start with layout. I used b&w photograph of my dear Mom and her friend in the garden when they were very young girls. My Mom is very special to me, she is amazingly talented woman with great sense of humor which I adore. That is why I chose the word "Joy" as a title.

Next page I want to share with you was made in my new art-journal where I decided to collect all memories from ProzArt. It is very simple and mixed-media. Only the background and this cute chipboard frame. I covered it with gesso and ArtAnthology Sorbet paint - Frost so it's shining.

And here is my mini August mood board. The color combo that I found very inspiring this month is red and teal. Hope you like it too. I used Quatrefoil Panel to make some background.

A Quick Tutorial with Kelly
Hi there! Kelly here, with a quick tutorial and some ideas on how to use your chipboard and the punched out bits from your chipboard shapes in a new way.
"The Best Day Ever"
I decided to use this to create a whimsical layout...I added in some of the "Cloudy Skies" pieces, which I primed with Gesso, then used the same emboss/resist technique as I described above. I fussy cute the photos of my little girls and placed them upon the clouds.
Behind the cloud pieces I tucked away threads, cheesecloth, tissue paper, and pearl flourishes to add to the whimsical feel. Here are some close ups of the finished project:
I added the Best Day Ever title, which was simply embossed with white powder.
The small hearts are also "left over" pieces from the Hearts Panel.

Bits of Honey

Here is another layout I created using a similar background style, once again using "leftovers" from the Quatrefoil Panel, along with the Directions set.
"Three"
Nothing like a cluster of arrows to draw attention to the photo, right?
To add extra texture to the quatrefoil pieces I sprinkled on some white mica fragments, and also dabbed them with a texture medium.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look! I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial, and will try it out yourself!!
