Design Team projects Wendy Scholten June

Hi everyone,

It's my turn today to show you my design team work for the month June.

I have a canvas and 2 layouts to share with you.

So let's start with the canvas:

'Heaven Sent'

I only used a small piece of paper on this canvas behind my photo, it's from the new Garden Life collection.

 I used a stencil, some modeling paste, 4 colors paint spraynand the Blue Fern Studios Forever Stamp for my background.

 I used a piece of the Quatrefoil panel, the Circle Flourish frame and the Word Heaven Sent from the Spiritually Speaking Word Set as my title.

I thougt the title matched the photo very well, she's my little angel sent from Heaven and now we're waiting for our second little angel to say hello! We are so blessed!

 I used the Stormy Skies embossing powder on all the chipboard pieces to let them stand out more.

For the flower clusters i used the  Attic Charm Daisies, Dark Tropic Lilies, a flower from an older collection and a few small ones from my own stash.

Then my first layout for this month:

'Natural Beauty'

I used the Garden Life paper In Bloom paper and a small piece of the Sunrise paper behind my photo and a stencil, some moddeling paste and matching sprays.

I also used a few pieces of vellum with embossed flowers with the snow embossing powder.

 

I used the matching Rose Leaves, the  Floral Spray chipboard and for my title the Natural beauty saying from the All Natural word set. I used The Baby Pink and the Clover embossing powder which a combined with some paint.



I also used a few pieces from the matching printed chipboard set.

 I used Garden Blooms flowers and one from an older collection.

'Happy'

For this one i also used the Garden Life papers, Flower Bed and a piece of the Sunrise paper.

I fussy cut a few pieces of flowers from the Wallflowers paper to tuck behind my flowers

 I used the Timeless Floral Corner and the word Happy from the Happy, Heart, Love word set as my chipboard and treated them with stormy skies embossing powder and the iridescent grey on top to give it a beautiful sparkle.

 To give my background a little bit more texture i stamped a few images with the essential textures stamp. and used a piece of lace over my photo and behind my chipboard corner.

 I used a Christmas Bloom, a courtship rose and some Garden blooms.

I aso used a few pieces of the printed chipboard.

Hello, dear Blue Fern Studios fans! It's Halyna here to share a few new layouts with you.

"Garden Memories" layout

For my first layout about my dearest friend Elena I chose Flower Bed, Sun Kissed paper from the Garden Life collection. And I added some pieces of the Calling cards paper.

I embossed the Rose Leaves chipboard piece with Butter Cup and Oatmeal embossing powders. The Leafy Rings chipboard piece is embossed with Baby Pink embossing powder. And the Chunky Words Memories chipboard piece is embossed with Iridescent Grey embossing powder.

I used the Garden Florals, Christmas Blooms, Chesterville Blooms and other flowers in my flower cluster.

"Happy Fairy" layout

Using the Garden Life Collection I created my second layout "Happy Fairy" about my beautiful and magical friend Elena.

 I used the Garden Life papers: Sunrise, In Bloom, Snippets, Calling cards. Сhipboard element Chunky Words - Happy I covered with Imagine Ink Iridescent Grey embossing powder and chipboard element Blooming Flourishes - with Imagine Ink Baby Pink embossing powder

My flower cluster includes Chesterville Blooms and Garden Florals.

I used some pieces of the coordinate chipboard to embellish my layout.

And my third layout this month is a "Sparkle" pastel layout using the Main street paper from the Courtship Lane collection as the background. This is a cute picture of beautiful girl Diana!!

Сhipboard element Déjà Vu Dangles Chippies I covered with Imagine Ink Antique Gold embossing powder. And chipboard element Winter Titles - Sparkle I covered with Imagine Ink Oatmeal embossing powder.

I used the Attic Charm Glitter Roses in my flower cluster.

Hello Blue Fern Studios fans!
Vera Shelemekh is on air and I'm happy to share with you my projects featuring the new collection Garden Life which inspires to create wonderful flourish layouts.

I'll start with a fairy tale layout about my son and his girlfriend. Garden Life - Morning Dew paper as background does not require too many embelishments. It's so beautiful itself.

I added cut elements from Garden Life - Snippets and Garden Life - Flower Bed paper sheets. All these characters and flowers make the fairy tale.

I used  Stamp - Wedding Sentiments for the header.

I can't leave my layouts without wonderful Blue Fern Studios chipboards. In this I used Leafy Bough bits covered with lime embossing powder. And one more small header from the set of Garden Life - Printed Chipboard

The other layout is for my Wedding album. I decided to divide the Garden Life - In Bloom paper and fussy cut the elements from the upper part. I replaced the cut part with some craft paper and adhered many cut flowers on it.

The header is made with Follow Your Heart chipboard covered with Icicle embossing powder and soot glitter.

The Spring frame is covered with Icicle embossing powder and  Glitter - Fool's Gold. For the backgroung I used Leafy florals Stamp.

 I also used the round piece of chipboard from the Garden Life - Printed Chipboard set.

and also many wonderful cut elements from  Garden Life - Snippets and Garden Life - Flower Bed

.. and for the desert two birthday cards.
I cut Garden Life - Merriment into two pieces, folded them and cut up to the size of 10x15 cm
The cards are decorated with frames from Ever after frame set, elements cut from  Garden Life - Snippets and the remnants of the basement.

The frames are covered with Embossing Powder - Iridescent Grey. I made two layers of powder.

I also added Heartland Blossoms white flowers. They look so tender.

Happy Accident Collection feauring Bev Code

Hi Blue Fern Studios fans. I am using the amazing HAPPY ACCIDENT Collection on this page.

"Memories Captured"

Hi... Bev here today. As Fan of the Month at Blue Fern Studios I am thrilled to be able to create using layers of paper from the HAPPY ACCIDENT collection. I then stamped using WASHI STRIPS,  BLOOM and STEM stamps and many CHIPBOARDS. I finished it off with a cluster of SPRING FLORAL flowers and a piece of PRINTED CHIPBOARD. I am thrilled to be able to share with you the amazing products I used  on my project. 

This Memories Captured page are photos of my eldest son's family along with a group family photo with everyone in it too. 

 For this page I used a background paper which I ripped and then slotted in another contrasting paper. I inked the edges for depth, texture and contrast.  From there I laid out my proposed chippies and photos to give me an idea where I could apply inked stamping of the bloom and stem flowers and washi strip.. 

The rings panel chippies were cut apart to fit and inked to match and coordinate with the main paper colours. I also inked the title chippies and some of the full circles to fill in some spot and to float a few freely on the page too.

In this section you can view the stamping, inked chippies and a fabulous cluster of flowers.

Close up view shows the amazing 3D flowers in stunning colours.
