July Sketch Challenge

Welcome to July!  We're here today to give you a kick-start to your next project by providing you with a sketch.  It's an awesome way to kick-start your creativity.  Our July sketch, created by Michele Singh, is beautiful, with a strong horizontal line all the way across the page - or will you flip it and have a strong vertical line?  That's totally up to you, of course.

Let's take a look at how some members of our Creative Team used the sketch:

Zaneta Glowa

(Paper Collection:  Deja Vu)

Debbie Burns

(Paper Collection: Paisley & Vine)

Yuko Tanaka

(Paper Collection: Montage)

Jelissa Mei

(Paper Collection: Sanctuary)

Keren Tamir

(Paper Collection: Sanctuary)

Galina Sazonova

(Paper Collection: Deja Vu)

Bente Fagerberg

(Paper Collection: Blue Fern Garden)

Now it is YOUR turn to show us how you used the July sketch.
One lucky winner, selected by a random draw, will receive a prize package of Blue Fern Studios chipboard!

In addition, we will also select 3 (or more) layouts to feature.
We have just a few simple rules to follow if you would like to participate in our sketch challenge:

1.) Feel free to interpret the sketch as you please by means of taking it as-is or
flipping/turning/mirroring it to suit your needs!

2). Please note that you can do whatever type of project you please - a layout, card,
canvas, altered item- whatever suits your mood and style!
We would love to see the different ways our sketch can be used.

3.) You must use at least one piece of Blue Fern Studios chipboard OR use Blue Fern Studios paper on your project. Please note that you do not need to use the pieces featured in the sketch
- use whatever suits your fancy! You can find the store nearest you HERE.
 {Do not use any other brand of chipboard on your project please!}

4.) Upload your project using the Inlinkz tool below by midnight EST on July 31, 2015

We look forward to seeing how you use our sketch and Blue Fern products!

The Wait is Over - introducing Frolic!

There's no better way to wrap up the month of June than with the reveal of our new paper collection, Frolic.
Frolic, as a verb, is to play and move about cheerfully, excitedly, or energetically, and that is just what we want you to think of when you see this collection.  The colors and designs are certainly cheerful and energetic.  How perfect for so many projects!  Here are the individual papers from the collection so you can see what we mean.
Take your time as you scroll through this beautiful 10-page collection.

But we have more good news - we didn't stop with just the paper.
We have chipboard pieces designed to coordinate with the Frolic Collection!

Butterfly Friends

Bird Ornaments

Frolic in the Sun

Frolic Mesh

Tea Medley

Have you had a chance to try our very popular stamp sets?  These 4x6 sets are of the highest quality
clear photo-polymer.  We have designed two stamp sets to coordinate with our Frolic Collection.

Washi Tape

Garden Frolic

We hope you are as excited as we are about Frolic!

You are unique by Marta Lapkowska + VIDEO tutorial

Hello everyone,

It's Marta Lapkowska here.
I hope you are doing great.
I am back to you with my new page and full video tutorial.
You can see my creative process step by step.
This is one of my favourite photos. I enjoyed creating mixed media background to this photo by adding layers of papers and chipboards.

I love making dimentional pages full of embellishments like flowers and trims.

I hope you will enjoy my video tutorial where you can see the whole creative process.

Happy making, Marta x
