Three projects with Irina Gerschuk

Hi ladies!
It's Irina with you today and I'm really excited to share my new projects!
My first project is a LO "Blooming Beauty" about my little sister. It tells a short "family story" about our walk in the woods one hot summer day:
And let me show you some close-ups:
I covered the title "Blooming Beauty" with two different colors of paints then added a layer of crackle accent and after all covered it spontaneously with microbeads:
Here is one more closer look at the title, and under the rose is a piece from the Ornate Medallions set:
Well, here are three different pieces of BFS: Symphony border (also painted with different colors and than added microbeads), Evening Lamp Post (I covered it with white embossing powder) and parts from the Garden Window (again painted with different paints and after it added a layer of glance lacquer):
The same window but from the other angle (just want to show you all the painting and volume here))):
And here are the pieces of BFS that I've used in the LO:

My next project is a birthday card. I used the Calligraphic Border and Damask Flourish in it:
Some close-ups:
The Damask Flourish I covered with two different kinds of paints (choosing colors that match the palette of the card) and than added a thick layer of crackle accent:
I added a flower composition on top of it to achieve more volume and details here:
And here is one of my favorite pieces of BFS - the Calligraphic Border. As to me it's stylish, elegant and so universal that can match almost very work))) I covered it with white embossing powder:
And here are the pieces I've used:
Damask Flourish (Model: 074868):

My last project for today is a soft handmade notebook made from stitch:
I've used a piece from the Double-Dutch Flourish Set here:
Covered the chipboard with lavender paint and than with white crackle paint:

And here is the BFS piece by itself:

That's all for today!

Two cards and a notebook with Irina Gerschuk

Hi there, my dear scrapbook friends!
It's Irina with you today and I'm super excited to show my new projects using the BFS products)))

Му first project is a birthday card:
I used "Organic Vine" here as a central element:
Covered it with white embossing powder and then added puff effect. After I glued it to the paper I added some micro beads:

My second project is a shabby card:
I used "Calligraphic Border", "Symphony Border" and "Heart Set" here:
I painted the heart with whip paint, glued an angel to it and added different pearls. After all I added a thick layer of glossy accent on the pearls to make it looks like an all-in-one piece:
The "Calligraphic Border" and the "Symphony Border" I covered with white opaque  embossing powder:
The BFS pieces I used here:

"Symphony Border" (model 074530)

"Heart Set" (model 074417)

And the last project is a handmade notebook:
I used "Blooming Flourish" here:
Cowered it with white cradle paint:

A little Victorian and a little Wild West

Hello.  Jennifer Snyder here today to show you a little Victorian and a little Wild West using a variety of Blue Fern Studios goodies.

Girl in the Rain
This is a piece that was created around the sweet Maud Humphrey image.  Maud Humphrey was the mother of actor, Humphrey Bogart.  Maud was born in Rochester, NY, my hometown and became a commercial artist in the late 1800's and early turn of the century.

My Blue Fern chippies are treated very simply - painted with gesso.  The gesso just gives enough white to cover the chippy without making the chipboard completely stark white.  It gives it a bit of an old feel, worn and aged.

Here are the pieces I used:

Organic Vine Corner  -074622 - this piece was cut in two to complete the framed feel.
Floral Clock 074684 - I love the versatility of this Blue Fern piece. It is an exquisite design.

Girl Under the Streetlamp
Here is another Maud Humphrey image, meant to be a pair of layouts. I love the squirrel resting on her hand so I chose the Evening Lamp Post chipboard piece by Blue Fern Studios from which my squirrel can scamper to and fro.

The little flourish swirl under the floral cluster is part of the Organic Vine from the Girl in the Rain layout (shown as the first piece).  I wanted to tie the two pieces together.

Organic Vine Corner  -074622
 Evening Lamp Post 074660

I added moulding paste in a heavy chunky style here.

After letting my moulding paste dry, I dabbed a little Mixd Media Inx in Pewter on it to provide a little shadowing effect.

Howdy
Flipping from Victorian to western in this layout.

This is a photo I took a few years ago.  The little boy is a few months old and he's a little camera shy. This photo always makes me smile when I look at it.

I pulled out the  Blue Fern Studios Calligraphic Border and stained it with dark brown stain then wove some jute string around it.

Ornate Medallions Set 074462

I painted the Medallions with Tim Holtz stain and then  covered with a very cool thick texture paint from Art Anthology called sorbet.

Thanks so very much for stopping to check out Blue Fern Studios.
