Vignettes consists of richly multilayered compositions, a muted and nostalgic color palette, and evocative details - singing the praises of those oft-overlooked moments in our lives. Each page is a theme for your own special vignette: Scattered Dreams, The Daily, Frayed Damask or, simply, Timeless are suggestive, each in their way, of a mood to create the backdrop of your own little glimpse of life!

Life's Vignettes Scrapbook Layout

 Hello Blue Fern Fans,  how's everyone doing?  We have another beautiful collection created by the amazing and talented Jen Bishop,  Life's Vignettes!  The designs and colors are so gorgeous,  I couldn't wait to create with this collection!  

I created a set of layouts,  the first one is my favorite of the two.  The second one I recorded a step by step tutorial with similar details. 

I did alot of fussy cutting and ink distressing on the layout.  I also made some vellum flowers and did a few doily diecuts.  Although this layout looks simple,  it took me hours to create and I love how it turned out!

I used some crocheted doilies and cheesecloth from my stash that helped create my textured background.

I added Lace number 81 on the top and bottom with paper punched black cardstock peaking through.

The butterfly is fussy cut from the collection,  that's one of my favorites!  

I added beads,  Blue Fern Studios Magenta embossing powder (which I thought was just regular glitter) but it was perfect for adding sparkle!  For the final touch I added Blue Fern Studios Gold Nugget seedlings,  love me some microbeads!

For the vellum flowers I added Finnabair waxes in 3 different shades hoping it would match the colors in this collection.

I basically created the layout using the same details just a different design.  You can view my step by step tutorial at the end of this post if you'd like to follow along!

Well after creating the set of layouts I'm ready to get out this collection and create another project! Be sure to stay tuned for another project soon!

Through the Garden Gate

 Hello Blue Fern Fans!  Who has the Gorgeous The Glory of the Garden in their stash???  I was going through my stash and came upon the collection,  it is Soooo Gorgeous!

I decided to create a small and quick memory/journal album.  Blue Fern Studios has so many lace trim pieces that are perfect with this collection!

Stuffed Envelope using Fairy Whispers collection

 Hey Blue Fern Fans,  I have a project share using the Gorgeous Fairy Whispers collection.

I decided to create something a little different this time!  

I created a large envelope and then I started diecutting crazy to create layers and a couple
